The work is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, where the district government needed to paint an illustration on a wall with the theme "Vitality". The wall is facing a civic square with excellent greenery and lots of space for people to relax and move around. In the piece, I depicted people engaged in different activities: some reading quietly, some doing sports, some practicing musical instruments, and some singing. I intended to portray the colorful leisure life of the citizens and to show the youthful energy of the people in the district.
